Learn More About Me
If I could only share one thing with you about me it would be that I have a special appreciation for our great country. My parents were avid travelers and took my brother and I to many international destinations at a very young age. In addition, I spent my Junior year in college living abroad in Valencia, Spain. I traveled extensively and learned to appreciate the USA from a totally different perspective. I love to visit foreign counties and soak up the culture, local cuisine and its people. However as Dorothy says - There is NO PLACE LIKE HOME. I especially love America for the opportunity it gives the average person to make remarkable gains both personally and financially with hard work and dedication.
Aside from that I'm the proud father of two beautiful children. Katerina is 16 and Andre is 7. In fact Katya was only 7 when she arrived to this country and didn't speak one word of English. Within 6 months she was fluent. My lovely wife of nine years is from The Ukraine and works in Sonography (Ultrasound Tech.). We are seasoned travelers and enjoy the beautiful beaches and breezes of Florida. I am also an avid music fan - my favorite being The Blues!
The best thing about having my own business is deliberately cultivating TRUE TIME FREEDOM!! For me it is all about flexibility of schedule and freedom of time. Working from home allows me to spend more time with my family and since my daughter home schools, it also gives her more access to her Dad on an as needed basis. Besides the 20+ tax deductions one instantly qualifies for as a business owner, I really appreciate not having to sit in traffic commuting to and from an office 30-60 minutes away. Lastly, Andre's school is only 5 minutes from our home by car and I often surprise him for lunch at school. The smile that appears on his face when he sees me walk into the cafeteria is priceless! This is TRUE FREEDOM!
For me, it all started when after leaving Corporate America in 1996 I started my own Specialty Publication distribution business which I sold in 2005. With all the long hours I put into my corporate job and even more into my own business, I began a search for a business in an industry where I could work hard and smart for 3 to 5 years, and then NEVER have to work again. I realized during my sales career that there had to be a better way than to start from scratch over and over again each month. I had traded enough time for money to know it is not the most prudent way to do things. Logically, the ONLY way I could accomplish this vision was to put the concept of LEVERAGE to work. I was fortunate enough to learn that the most logical and direct route to RESIDUAL income is to LEVERAGE my TIME AND EFFORTS. I consider myself extremely blessed to have found the perfect vehicle with which to develop continual PASSIVE/RESIDUAL income in order to experience the utimate goal in life of TIME FREEDOM!
